Training Chinese Traditional Martial Arts it is a fun way to lose weight. Your body will become toned and you will feel sexier inside

Learning Self-Defence can be a life changing experience because empowers you with confidence, determination, reflexes, strong
body and knowledge. In addition you will feel safe in every real life situation. To travel around the world as a single woman will be
a subject of the past.
In this class we teach techniques used by the police forces and military (Qin Na) and Shaolin Boxing. Apart of set of exercises
which you will practice in pairs; you will learn also forms (sets of movements) with real life applications. You will learn fighting
techniques and you will spar against fellow classmates and even Shifu.

Slow paced Traditional Martial Arts such Taiji Quan, Meditation, Qigong and Meihua Quan are designed to help you prevent many
illnesses. During this practice you will combine the slow movements with breathing focusing on your body feelings. You will feel
deeply relaxed tapping into your internal Qi (force energy which flow throughout the body).
The Kung Fu styles mentioned above will help you improve your flexibility, balance, aerobic capacity and muscle strength.
We practice flexibility exercises on daily basis, twice per day. Once per week we also do power stretching which can help you
more in depth with the flexibility. There is a Chinese saying: “If you elongate your tendons and ligaments by 1 cm, you will add 10
years to your life!”
Proprioception is a function of sensory neurons in the inner ear and stretch receptors in the muscle and ligaments. This function
declines with age and can make you prone to falls. However having a flexible and balanced body will help you to avoid falls when
you get older.
Practicing the forms at a lower level, you will get a work out for your legs, in the same time with body strength for your upper body.
