Kung Fu Grading

Kung Fu grading for Shaolin Kung Fu, Sanda, Tai Ji Quan and Mei Hua Quan at Association of Chinese Martial Arts in Pyrgos. Shifu Shi Yan Jun traveled for the second year to Pyrgos.

Shifu Grigorios Stamatopoulos and the students of the Association worked very hard this year. The Association has new students. Without exception all participated in Kung Fu grading.

Shifu Shi Yan Jun was particularly impressed by the excellent improvement of the student Nausika. She has been practicing Shaolin Kung Fu for 4 years. She showed that she understands the real essence of Shaolin Kung Fu. Her moves were dynamic and powerful. Another student which showed good improvement was Stelios. He performed Wu Shi very accurately.

Older students must be praised as well. Although their life is very busy, they find the time to train three times per week. They are a great example for all of us. To train Kung Fu at older age means to have a healthy body and family life. Kung Fu helps you to relax, be calmer, patient and have more energy.

Shifu Grigoris Stamatopoulos is a great example as a coach. He continuously improves himself. In summer he went to China to further his Shaolin Kung Fu education. He participated in Duanwei Grading at Dengfeng Shaolin Kung Fu Association being awarded Grade 5.

Shifu Stamatopoulos trained Mei Hua Quan as well. Due to his diligence and hard work was accepted as direct disciple by Grandmaster Zhang Xi Ling. He becomes 18^thGeneration Disciple of Mei Hua Quan.

The Association of Chinese Martial Arts Pyrgos – Shaolin Kung Fu is part of Hellenic Songshan Union and is under the direct guidance of Shifu Kostas Mathiopoulos.

Shifu Shi Yan Jun wishes to express his gratitude towards Songshan Hellenic Union and Shifu Kostas Mathiopoulos. He had a great experience in grading the students. Shifu Shi Yan Jun will continue to follow their Kung Fu development.
